McCorquodale Transfer, Inc. – Founder 1996

The company began as an antique and fine furniture delivery service. Since then, the company has grown to become a commercial / residential moving service as well as a shipping, receiving and warehousing business. Bart had been involved in many different aspects of the furniture industry and saw a need for McCorquodale Transfer in the Birmingham, AL area. While in high school, Bart worked for his father’s furniture business coordinating deliveries and working in the warehouse. During college, Bart continued to work for a furniture manufacturing company. During this time, Bart realized the need for a residential delivery service. During the first couple of years in business, customers often asked Bart and the employees of McCorquodale Transfer if they could move their homes. As a result, McCorquodale Transfer became the company it is today.
