If time, capabilities or resources aren’t in your favor for your Birmingham move, let McCorquodale handle the packing for you. In addition to using the industry’s highest quality packing materials to pack and load your precious items, we can also unpack everything at your new residence and remove the used packing material. You’ll save yourself both time and money.

When you let McCorquodale professionals handle your packing, this guarantees a safe relocation; everything we pack is carried under our liability. McCorquodale is responsible for items in our immediate care and control. If you so chose for us to handle your packing needs, due to licensing and liabilities please remember to remove all jewelry, furs, collections, cash, stock certificates or bonds from your home before our movers arrive. Also remember to remove your keys and purses, which may inadvertently be packed and moved if left in your home.

To improve efficiency before packers arrive:

• Have walk-ways clear
• Wash all dirty dishes
• Empty dishwasher
• Remove mirrors from dressers
• Remove bulbs and lampshades from lamps
• Disassemble beds
• Take down pictures, hanging lamps, hanging plants, etc.
• Move remote controls, plants, golf clubs and small odds and ends yourself
• Know where you want to place items at the new address
• Dispose of items unlikely to use again
• Remove trash
